In its most basic form, a spell is simply the manipulation of energy: infusing the energy with our own intent, and then sending it forth into the universe to act according to our Will.

We use many different trappings to help us in this goal. Tools such as Colors, Herbs, Gemstones, and Incense can help to mold the specific energies we need.

Further, the specific time of day, month, or year can influence the energy around us and thus either help or hinder our project. We use Correspondences to keep track of the energies specific to the potential elements of our spellcrafting. Many of these energies are universal, and there are links to the Correspondence Tables for them on this page. However, keep in mind that some things, like a specific gemstone that is yours and used over and over will pick up your personal energy, and will mean different things to you. You should tke note of that and keep it in your personal journal.
